Clive rice's WSC world XI cap and shirt, from the first year of WSC 1977-78, the cap pale blue wool, with embroidered WSC badge (red ball over 3 black stumps and 'W.S.C.') on front. Very good match-Used condition, the shirt pale blue with embroidered WSC badge, and Endorsed on collar 'Rice'. Ex Ross Edwards collection. Clive rice played 482 first-Class matches 1969-94. Along with other South African players, rice was excluded from international cricket for most of his career. Rice played world series cricket 1977-79, and captained South Africa's first 3 ODIs in 1991. He played for Nottinghamshire in the English County Championship in a side that also featured internationals Richard Hadlee and Derek Randall. As Captain, he led the side to the County title in both 1981 and 1987. (2 items)
