Description:
A William Garlick Attributed Colonial New Zealand Wardrobe in Mottled Kauri, the wardrobe typically with a bevel edged rectangular mirror fitted to the central door, which is flanked by simple but decorative panels in figured kauri. Standing on a base with a full drawer with nickel hardware, and surmounted by a pediment decorated with turned spindles. Provenance: The wardrobe has remained in the vendor's family since the latter 19th century, during which time it was partially dismantled. The vendor commissioned William Cotrell to restore the wardrobe to its original form. Width 139 cm. Height 249 cm. Diameter 57 cm
