Fine Gilt Bronze Sculpture Of Green Tara, c.18-19th century, seated in lalitasana above a double lotus base with her left hand lowered in vajra mudra and her right hand raised in vitarka mudra, her right foot resting on a separate padma issuing from the base, her dhoti falling in elegant folds, the visage of fine features slightly inclined to the right below a foliate crown, her separately cast torso adorned with a beaded necklace, her shoulders flanked by lotus flowers, Sino-Tibet, 28 x 16 cm, Ex-coll. the late Dr Paul Otto Taubert Note: For a similar example cf.
