A superb Gandharan schist frieze, c.2nd-3rd century AD, of Museum quality and significance, sculpted in relief with a central Buddha within a pillared arch way, seated above a bed with a naked female reclining on a pillow to his rear, flanked by female attendants within pillared arches, below a central figure of a monkey at apex, consistent weathering, exceptional detail, 36 x 54 cm, Ex-coll.
