A rare silver medal of New South Wales relevance, possibly Australian, circular the central cartouche within a foliate cast surround beneath a scroll crest and a circular loop bearing the inscription West Cumberland Agricultural Society / to Edwd. Cox Esqr. / for Best 3 Years old bull the reverse engraved with the image of a bull grazing in a field and titled Albert hallmarked with a monarch's head lion passant and an anchor 150grs. Total weight of silver 10.5 cm high. Note: while lacking hallmarks for an Australian silversmith it is possible that the hallmarks on the present piece are pseudo marks in the manner of English hallmarks.
