Kauri Dressing Mirror c.1875 This dressing mirror, exceptional for its scale and quality, sports handsome sea serpent supports framing an early floated glass mirror. The kauri framing was stained dark to imitate mahogany. The original owners of this mirror are unknown but it is reputed to have been used by tailors at Auckland retailer George Courts for a considerable period. Height 188 cm Width 108 cm
