A fine and impressive Scottish Victorian pollard oak sideboard circa 1840, by J & T Scott, 10 George Street, Edinburgh the central section with a rectangular top above a shelf raised on turned columns and panelled columns with a panelled back, flanked by two conforming pedestals each with scroll carved drawers above cupboard doors enclosing shelves and drawers, raised on a plinth base, all locks and tops of doors labelled with maker's mark. Width 280 cm. Depth 58 cm. Height 124 cm
