A fine pair of late 19th century Chinese carved stone figures depicted in intricately carved decorative dress with faces looking forward and bodies slightly rotated, raised on square bases, one cracked and raised on later plinths, 43 cm wide, 43 cm deep, 144 cm high (2). Note: These figures have been carved through 360 degrees and they both show evidence of at least two different colours on the surface suggesting that they were previously painted
