A fine late 19th century Russian bowl and cover, in French Empire taste the glass tapered ovoid bowl with cut sunburst decoration issuing from the base mounted on an elegant silver stand with four curved arms supporting the beaded band and terminating in acanthus panels on a shaped quatrefoil base, the conical silver cover with lobed sunburst surmounted by an acanthus finial, impressed marks to stand and cover Wh, 84 with kokoshnik, 46 cm high
