A Victorian sterling silver wine ewer, maker's mark obscured, London 1848, with a chased cartouche of a cricket scene and verso engraved 'Presented September 12 1848 by the Members of the Nottinghamshire cricket club to Their Secretary J. B. Warwick Esq with very Sincere Feelings of Gratitude for His most Valuable service to the club' within deep cased borders of flowers and acorns. Height 30 cm, 830gm
