An important pair of 2nd Empire gilt mirrors, of monumental proportions French, Circa 1860, the central oval bevelled plate within an acanthus and ball carved frame surrounded by four glass spandrels with grey backing (much of which is missing) with etched floral decoration, with female partial profile medallions to either side and below within a ribbon and guilloche frame with stepped corners, surmounted by a large oval portrait medallion flanked by winged cherubs each opposing the other, with ribbon and floral garland crest and a pair of floral urns to either side, 209 cm wide, 335 cm high (2)
