A late Victorian ebony and amboyna, ormolu and porcelain mounted Bonheur du Jour in the Louis XVI taste, Circa 1880, the superstructure with central mirror lined aperture flanked by two small cupboards, each applied with oval Sevres style plaques depicting 18th century style portrait medallions, the central drawer with retractable writing surface flanked by two further short drawers above two open lower tiers with gilt and fluted turned supports, raised on turned tapering legs and ceramic castors, the whole decorated with guilloche gilt bronze mounts and painted porcelain ovals, 121 cm wide, 57 cm deep, 150 cm high
