A fine William IV rosewood davenport by Miles & Edward, the rotating sloping desk top enclosing three small drawers, with a pull out hinged long drawer containing inkwells, above four graduated drawers to the front, raised on a plinth base with castors, stamped on the top edge of the writing slope 'Miles & Edward, 134 Oxford Street, London 32070', the hinges stamped 'Horne patent', 53 cm wide, 52 cm deep, 84 cm high.
