Chuck Fleetwood-Smith's Cricket Bat, from the 1938 Australian tour of England, with Fleetwood-Smith's signature in the ownership position, and faded signatures of the English team including Walter Hammond & Denis Compton. Bat has been varnished, so although the England signatures are difficult to read, a rare souvenir of this tour. [Chuck Fleetwood-Smith played 10 Tests 1935-38]. Chuck Fleetwood-Smith gave the bat to Keith Payne (included is a team photograph of 1939-40 Bay View Cricket Club including Keith Payne).
