An 18ct yellow gold triple bar nugget brooch by George Addis, Kalgoorlie, with safety chain, two diamond shaped engraved panels, and carved ball finials. Stamped, 'G.R. Addis 18c' weight: 22gms. George R Addis (Active c.1890-1934) by 1895 he was established at 91 Hannon Street, Kalgoorlie. Best known for his firms goldfield brooches. He apparently had one of the state's biggest collections of gold nuggets, which he occasionally displayed in his shop window. He sold the business to Caris Bros. In 1931 and died three years later
