Round, black inkstone box and cover, carved deeply and intricately with two large dragons, heads protruding upwards in three dimensions, chasing the flaming pearl, the swirling clouds showing snatches of tails and lakes. Quite dramatic. Interior base carved with sprawling pine on the edge of inkwell 19th century Qing Dynasty. Diameter 96 cm
