Bronze and cloisonne figure of a deity riding a peacock, the Buddhistic deity (possibly Manjusri) holds a sword and orb and his elaborate headdress is surmounted by a miniature Buddha, the stylized open work feathers of the peacock form a backdrop. He is seated on a lotus throne on the peacock's back set on a circular stepped plinth base, early 19th century. Height 90 cm
