A fine Shan alabaster Buddha, c.18th century, of fine features and good detail, seated in dhyanasana above a lotus platform, wearing a loose fitting sanghati, the visage with serene expression and down cast eyes below a projecting cintanami at apex, decorated with mineral earth pigments, Burma, 54 x 30 cm.
