A Superb Indian Sandstone Relief, c.12-13th century, of museum quality in the form of a seated female deity above a mythical lion and standing attendant to her right, holding a cherub to her left breast and holding mangoes in her right hand, the naked torso adorned with jewels below her fine featured visage with serene expression and downcast almond eyes, below an elaborate headdress and circular nimbus to rear decorated with floral motifs, recessed within a floral arch, a central seated figure seated in relief at apex, superb detail, consistent weathering, Rajasthan, 46 x 36 cm.
