An unusual World War II 'King Neptune' certificate presented to a man who would have partaken in an onboard troopship Neptune ceremony. Although un-researched it is named to N. G. Walker and is dated August 1943. The document is profusely signed on both sides by members of platoon including officers and nurses. The majority of addresses are from the Auckland area, so Walker is likely a member of the Auckland Regt. No doubt a number will have gone on to be killed or decorated and this is very likely the only document that would have all collectively signed. A very researchable item
