A Top Quality George I Walnut Kneehole Desk with brushing slide (dressing kneehole). An unusual and rare feature is that the centre cupboard can be pulled forward to come flush with the drawers. The top edges have no 'overhang', it has a flush or 'caddy top' which makes the piece of furniture appear smaller. Drawers are lined in oak, the top is quartered with herringbone inlay around the drawers. Good rich dark honey colour richness overall.
