Description:
A Gold And Diamond Cuff Bracelet designed as a band of textured wire highlighted with randomly-set panels of circular-cut diamonds The pieces exhibited in this Sotheby's catalogue were collected by our mother's parents, Anthony and Mary Hordern. Anthony established Milton Park in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales in 1910 and this was where our mother grew up with her sister Romayne. Our mother married Peter Baillieu, our father, in 1954 when they moved to Echuca. Milton Park was subsequently sold by Anthony Hordern in the early sixties to the owners of the King Ranch, Texas. Milton Park continued to be used to breed Santa Gertrudis cattle and Quarter Horses after it was repurchased by our mother and father, in the mid 1970's.
