A Group Of Seven Silver And Copper Repousse Shrines And A Teapot, Tibet,19th/20th Century the shrines 19 cm to 6 cm; the winepot 30 cm wide comprising an amulet shrine, the front with relief decoration of the Buddhas of the five families, above a figure of Avalokitesvara and protectors of the four directions, spaced among scrolling foliage encircling a central painted Buddha; six similar smaller amulet shrines; and an ovoid teapot, repousse in copper and gilt with a central Buddha figure below the Eight Buddhist Symbols among foliate scrolls rising from rocks and waves around the base, set on one side with a slender spout rising from an animal's head opposite the lion handle
