An old wood carved cigar store Indian maiden figure, the full figure typically carved in a stance gazing forward, clutching tobacco leaves in her right hand and the left supporting a plain box, her head dressed in carved feathers (the head dress with some old loss), the figure polychrome handpainted overall with decorative floral motifs to the dress, the paintwork appears to be original. Standing on a square wood low plinth. Note; some age related old splits. Height 122 cm
