A Wood Carved Guang Gong (Lord Guang) Figure on a Pierce-Carved Stand, signed Qing Der, II. The carving depicts a huge framed and long bearded Guan Yu of the Three Kingdoms Period (220 - 265) who is now revered as a God of martial arts, wealth and literature and a dominant deity of Chinese and Tibetan beliefs, personifying honour, loyalty, integrity, justice, courage and strength.
