A fine Art Deco macassar ebony and marble topped sideboard, circa 1930, probably by Maurice Allais, the rectangular top inset with a curved front marble above a pair of central cupboard doors enclosing shelves and flanked by further cupboards each with a drawer and shelves, raised on a shaped plinth. Width 224 cm. Depth 61 cm. Height 107 cm. Provenance: Purchased by the current owner from Fins de Siecles, 180, rue Haute 1000 Bruxelles, note: See Bonhams & Butterfields, Los Angeles, 20th century decorative arts, 22 September 2008, Lot 1166 for an identical sideboard by Maurice Allais.
