A Hardy Brothers silver plate centrepiece, Circa 1911, the oval pierced stand raised on scrolling legs with foliate feet with two scrolled and acanthus leaf decorated arms holding removable pierced baskets, with a larger central basket, the central panel engraved 'Presented to / Alfred Saunders, Esq. J.P. / as a mark of esteem / by his employees / of / 815 George St, Sydney / 24.6.11' and with 'As' monogram to verso, marked Hardy Bros Sydney & Brisbane 1605 to underside of stretcher, 68 cm wide, 33 cm deep, 41 cm high
