A 19th century Australian rose mahogany and cedar four poster, with a moulded full tester canopy (un-illustrated), four posts, the front two of tapering turned form with spiral twisted reeded decoration, the rear two are similarly turned but undecorated as they would have been concealed by the curtains, the head board and foot board both carved with scrolls and stylised flower and fan motifs, raised on turned feet, lacking slats and bolt covers, 215 cm long, 169 cm wide, 217 cm high
