A 19th century Australian rose mahogany and cedar four poster bed, Circa 1840, with a moulded full tester canopy (un-illustrated), four posts, the front two of tapering turned form with spiral twisted reeded decoration, the rear two are similarly turned but undecorated as they would have been concealed by the curtains, the curved headboard with applied scroll decoration, raised on tapering turned legs with castors, with original bolts, lacking one cover panel to head board leg, with five later slats, stamped T. Wright on side rail and end rail, 202 cm long, 139 cm wide, 235 cm high
