1988 Ford Sierra Rs Cosworth In 1986, this was the first Ford production car to carry the 'Cosworth' name. In 1988, Ford developed the four door saloon concept car. The only difference was it did not have wheel arch extensions or bonnet louvres, but it was still exceptionally fast. It became known as the 'Sapphire' Cosworth. This car has been meticulously maintained. It is a D.O.H.C. 16V turbo. Brought into New Zealand by the 2nd owner of 3. The engine was rebuilt 3 years ago by a licenced 'Cosworth' mechanic.
