Description:
A cape, two crowns and a velvet pillow. Made for the Miss New Zealand and other beauty contests c.1960-70, the cape is very full cut with a train; in red lurex and edged with red, blue and silver sequins, the two crowns are encrusted with Swarovski crystals, pearls and coloured glass stones. Red velvet pillow, together with a copy of an article from the New Zealand Women's' Weekly dated May 25 1970 showing Vinka and New Zealand 's delegate to the Miss international Contest 1970, Sue Greaves, wearing the Crown.
