A Maori Fine Grain Sedimentary Stone Large Toki Adze possibly greywacke, rectangular cross-section, polished on all surfaces, some hammer dressing visible on rear. Beveal chipped and ground with a marked skew. Butt rough natural surface. Length 20.2 cm Depth 2.1 cm. Width 7.6 cm. Provenance; purchased 1948 from a secondhand shop in Invercargill. Y11127
