A Chinese 20th century ivory carved figurine of a slender female the tall beauty with an elaborate bird hairstyle carved in the round, wearing a long flowing robe and adornments of four lotus medallions, each carved with symbols for longevity and harmony suspended from the waist on beads ending in tassels, she holding a colourful etched decorated fan in her left hand, the right hand holding a dragon carved staff over her shoulder, four carved small rings suspended from its jaw. Supported on a wood carved stand with pierce-carved ivory gallery, circa 1960s. Height 47 cm
