A Japanese Meiji Period Pair of Bronze Iroe Small Vases, makers Hattori Company of gently tapering cylindrical form, each with a variously coloured metals study of a cockerel perched on a flowering prunus bough, his splendid tail feathers draping down the vase wall, in hirazogan and engraving with silver, copper and possibly giobu or gold leaf.
