A 19th century Rockingham style Staffordshire pottery potpourri urn of lobed baluster form and decorated in the blue and gilt French style with moulded naturalistic leaves handles and cover handle, the central body painted in the round with floral and butterfly studies in bright enamels on a white ground, the urn on a blue and gilt moulded leaves spreading foot. Height 26 cm
