A Dr Christopher Dresser design silver plate-mounted claret jug manufactured by Hukin & Heath, the clear glass of tapering cylindrical or beaker form with a star cut base, the collar marked H & H with the bird cipher and registration diamond, the lower underside of the integral handle stamped 2419. Note; some plating lifting under the hinged cover with some plate loss in same area and some plate wear to the collar. Height 24.2 cm
