Description:
Wooden head of Christ. Provenance: This head was taken from Indonesia to Singapore in the 1960s, the head (probably 18th/19th century. Carving) has a gash in it dating from the time when rebels tried to desecrate the Catholic churches. This church where this was found was demolished and only the head remained. On a small plinth only one glass eye remaining. Height 19 cm
