Waka (Canoe) Model found at the mouth of a River c. 1960. Dense dark brown wood, shallow v-shaped inner hull, sides and both ends have been decorated with haehae and pakati patterning in a zigzag chevron fashion and outline of a shark repeated on both sides of hull at both stern and prow ends. Slightly polished patina, several lashing holes on both sides of the inner surface. Stand included with this model. Length 198 cm Y13795.
