A fine pair of Victorian mahogany bookcases, circa 1850, the moulded cornice with outswept corners above a curved frieze and three arched glazed doors with blind fretwork decoration, enclosing six adjustable shelves above three short cupboard doors each with pierced fretwork decoration and silk backs, raised on a moulded plinth base (2), 179 cm wide, 43 cm deep, 288 cm highPlease note: We believe that this pair of bookcases were designed by the Scottish furniture designer Peter Thomson.
