Bronze plaque, engraved France - Angleterre 1923, and on reverse Raymond Sentubery, 48 x 70 mm. Very attractive and scarce. Designed by P.Vannier, similar to the commemorative winner's plaque he designed for the 1906 Athens Olympics, with front showing Olympic winner over Athens Stadium with Acropolis at left, reverse showing Fame flying over laurel tree with Greek temple at right. (the first match between France and England was a friendly played at Paris, England won 4-1)
