A good late 19th century walnut grande sonnerie wall regulator, L. Hoeber, 31 Duke Street, Grosvenor St, London the elaborate superb case surmounted by a shaped cresting and three turned finials over canted front angles with well carved capitals and bases, on a carved base, the two-part enamel dial with Gothic style Roman numerals and fancy hands, the weight driven movement with deadbeat escapement striking on a pair of circular-section coiled steel gongs, with wooden rod pendulum terminating in a large brass bob. Height 172 cm
