A 19th century mahogany bracket clock with deadbeat escapement, David Whitelaw, Edinburgh the rectangular case with moulded cornice and well figured sides on a stepped base, the signed one-piece silvered Roman dial flanked by a pair of fluted pilasters, the large rectangular movement with deadbeat escapement striking on a bell.
