An antique 22ct gold Persian garnet and niello bangle, ex BC gallery band with a central garnet inlay, finished with a modern 18ct replacement clasp, width 13.9 mm, internal diam. 61 x 52 mm, wt. 22g. Origin: circa 18th to 19th century A.D., Greater Persia. (ex: S. Kovar collection, collected in the 1930's, ex: East Australian Trading, sale no. AA201508, date, 10 Aug 2015 lot 171).
