Soshu Yamamoto, Bizen chawan (teabowl), woodfired stoneware, impressed potter's mark above the foot, 8 x 12.5 x 12.5 cm. Other notes: Soshu Yamamoto was the wife of Bizen Living National treasure Toshu Yamamoto (1906-1994). They worked together from the Bishuu-gama or Bishuu kiln in Bizen.
