Description:
One sterling silver salver, this 19th century three-footed salver has gadrooned edging sloped sides and an engraved flat base. Diameter: 310 mm. Engraving reads as follows: "Presented by the members of the Sandrige marine Lodge to Bro Phillip Leigh Esq, for the diligent and efficient discharge of his duties as master. Also for his untiring zeal and energy in promoting the interest of the lodge. Sandridge 16 October 1861. By W Edwards Melbourne. Weight: 841.2 grams.
