Large water jug, a Victorian sterling silver water jug. With a circular pedestal base and short stubby stem, an ovoid-shaped body, a short broad tapering spout and a scrolled ornate handle. Engraved body, borders and base. Maker unknown. Makers stamp P in an oval. Assay in Edinbough 1833-1839. Height: 37 cm weight: 760.6 grams.
