A Macassar ebony 'Cabanel' cabinet after the design of Emile-Jacques Ruhlmann, by Frank Pollaro, New Jersey, 1993, after Ruhlmann's model no. 1527, rectangular with a bowed front, the stepped and moulded top above a pair of doors enclosing adjustable shelves, the shaped front corners extending as supports, the front and sides inlaid with simulated ivory to a diaper lattice pattern, the top and feet also inlaid, signed and dated on an inlaid plaque to the back, 153 cm high, 96 cm wide, 39 cm deep
