A fine Victorian sterling silver tea and coffee service, 1867 London, with maker's mark for Edward & John Barnard, the magnificent service decorated in neoclassical style comprising a teapot, coffee pot, twin handled sugar bowl and creamer, the teapot of circular urn form upon a circular domed pedestal foot, the curved spout with chased acanthus detailing opposite a C-scrolling handle with acanthus leaf junction and ivory insulators, the body with finely chased floral swags and strapwork, the flush hinged cavetto domed lid with beaded surround finial, the creamer and bowl with gilt interior, all pieces clearly marked, with original wooden fitted case.
