A Persian silver oval snuff box, X-ray tested .875 silver, circa 1900, the oval box with hinged cover, engraved to, the hinger lid and sides with figures gathering for a ceremony with musicians, framed by scrolling borders, the underside engraved with birds on branches, apparently unmarked.
