A Chinese bronze temple censer and reticulated cover, late Qing Dynasty, the heavily cast plain body with a flared rim set with stylised qilin handles, the pierced and domed cover with dragons and scrolls below a lappet border, surmounted by a reticulated ball knop with mythical birds, all raised on bat-form scrolled legs, with seal mark in relief to cartouche underside.
